Stone Countertop Production Supervisor – $35–$50/hr (Full-Time, Auburn, CA) Fabrication & Installation Leader – Hands-on Role with Growth Potential

We’re Innovative Stone, a third-generation custom countertop shop in Auburn, CA. We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee both fabrication and installation. This is not a desk job — it’s for someone who can do the work, lead by example, and train others to do it right.

If you’ve spent the last 5+ years building stone countertops and want a leadership role without giving up your hands-on skillset, let’s talk.

What You’ll Do:

•

Lead daily shop and install operations with attention to detail and schedule

•

Train new and existing team members on fabrication and install techniques

•

Monitor quality control on all pieces before they leave the shop

•

Handle logistics, tools, materials, and crew coordination

•

Manage light maintenance on shop equipment (compressors, CNCs, polishers, etc.)

•

Communicate clearly with staff and ownership to keep projects moving

•

Keep safety a priority without killing productivity

•

Help build a culture of pride, precision, and professionalism

Must-Haves:

5+ years of fabrication and* installation experience (stone only — not tile)

•

1+ year leading or training a crew

•

Can lift and move 75+ lbs regularly

•

Solid understanding of granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and engineered stone

•

Able to read shop drawings and site plans

Communicates well and can work with* others — not just boss them around

•

Valid CA driver’s license and clean record

•

Room for advancement for the right person who shows leadership and results

Schedule & Pay:

•

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour days, some overtime)

•

$35–$50/hr, based on experience and ability

•

Paid time off: Starts accruing after 90 days — 1 week vacation per year to start, plus sick time

•
