Station Controller - Natural Gas Storage

Position Summary:

Honeoye Storage Corporation is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Station Controller at our natural gas storage facility in Bristol, NY. This full-time position offers strong growth potential in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across station facilities

· Perform general maintenance tasks including but not limited to:

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in the natural gas industry, particularly in compression, dehydration, and transportation, is highly valued

· Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude

· Knowledge of natural gas transmission and storage regulations (NYSDEC, DOT and OSHA)

· Ability to operate and maintain testing equipment and related software

· Ability to work independently or as part of a small team

· Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills

· Proficiency in using personal computers and standard office software

· High level of professionalism and dependability

· Ability to work in inclement weather conditions

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree in an industrial or mechanical field is preferred (or two years of related experience for candidates applying for this position who do not possess an associate’s degree.)

Requirements:

· Candidates must be able and willing to relocate within 45 minutes of the Bristol facility within six months of hire to be considered for this position.

· Valid U.S. driver’s license

· Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including a DOT drug test

· Ongoing participation in DOT-regulated drug and alcohol testing program

· U.S. work authorization required

· Standard hours:

· After 6 months participation in an on-call rotation is mandatory and will include evenings, weekends, holidays, call-outs, and overtime
