Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of various welding processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The Tig Welder will work with a variety of materials and must adhere to industry codes and standards to ensure safety and quality in all projects.

Responsibilities

- Perform TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring precision and quality.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine project specifications.

- Utilize hand tools and equipment, including micrometers, and other welding tools.

- Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.

- Troubleshoot welding issues as they arise, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve problems effectively.

Skills

- Proficient in TIG welding techniques with a strong understanding of weld quality standards.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting equipment or process issues.

- Competence in using hand tools effectively for various tasks related to welding.
