- We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead complex sourcing initiatives and drive value across the supply chain.
- The ideal candidate will bring deep sourcing expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to support strategic procurement efforts.
- The successful candidate will support strategic sourcing programs and lead large scale RFPs.
- Lead multi-functional stakeholder teams on strategic sourcing initiatives or projects.
- Implement, manage, and maintain strategic sourcing programs for various categories.
- Oversee end-to-end sourcing process: strategy, market analysis, negotiation process, supplier selection, contract lifecycle management.
- Work with both company approved templates and third-party paper to execute vendor agreements.
- Align sourcing initiatives with Kinder Morgan’s business needs.
- Create and present strategy and results to all levels of leadership.
- Assist suppliers and Kinder Morgan teams with program-related inquiries and concerns.
- Leverage spend data and industry insights to drive sourcing and category strategies.
- Develop negotiation strategies using cost models, contract terms, risk awareness, and market intelligence.
- Gain consensus on acceptable risk levels and contract language with all stakeholders including Legal, Risk, EHS and Business Unit leadership.
- Job level will commensurate with experience and knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a procurement environment is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a procurement environment required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Familiar with industry and related commodities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal customers and vendors.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Experience with SharePoint, Contract Management and ERP systems
