Performs planning, scheduling, and tracking of manufacturing resources to support growing business demands. This role requires up to 50% travel to supplier sites to expedite materials, assess root causes of delivery delays, and drive improvements in supplier performance. The individual will be expected to provide regular report-outs on supplier status and corrective actions.
- Analyzing and solving business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities.
- Liaising with operational management teams on matters related to resource planning.
- Producing effective resource scheduling to maximize performance and meet KPIs.
- Coordinating activities of the manufacturing team to achieve desired outcomes using effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Traveling to supplier locations (up to 50%) to expedite critical materials, assess production readiness, and ensure timely delivery of components.
- Providing structured, data-driven report-outs on supplier performance, delivery risks, and mitigation plans.
- Partnering with suppliers to implement corrective actions and drive sustainable improvements in delivery performance.

- Produces, collates, and reports capacity-related measurements to examine application service levels.

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
- Monitors total plant production scheduling vis-a-vis orders.
- Evaluates considerations for synchronizing demand for products with production capabilities.
- Participates in sequencing work to meet targeted delivery dates for multiple and critical orders.
- Participates in setting parameters for reorders, min/max levels, lead days and job days.
- Coordinates capacity and materials planning for net demand within a planning period.
- Adjusts plans based on sales forecasts, custom orders and demand-driven orders.Master’s degree with 5-7 years, bachelor’s degree 7-9 years, or 15 yrs. experience with no degree.
