Dominion Energy (DE) owns and operates an internal DWDM network consisting of 18 DWDM nodes. DE’s IT-Telecommunication’s Transport Network Services group provides engineering support for all aspects of design, deployment, and operational support of the DWDM network and associated services.
Candidate will have a strong background in DWDM and Lightwave Propagation over fiber optic cable and have some Project Management experience. Additionally, successful candidates will possess the following skills:
Sr Network Analyst: 5+ years of experience or Network Specialist: 7+ years of experience working with deployments of DWDM network infrastructure and services and be able to demonstrate:

Dominion Energy is currently observing a hybrid schedule alternating one week in the office and one week remote.
Typical working hours are, but are not limited to, Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm.
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education.
Preferred disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Business or technical equivalent.
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
Occasional overnight travel required and must be available to monitor and respond during off-hours.
