(Sr./Lead) Analyst/Engineer I (II)

The Markets Automation and Quality Assurance team works with the core objective of improving tariff compliance, market process automation and development of standardized processes and templates to support market implementations. The primary function of this role is to coordinate and support quality improvement activities to ensure PJM adheres to requirements in its governing documents and other FERC filed rules and regulations and that its business processes reflect this adherence. This role will require close coordination with PJM FERC Compliance, Operational Excellence, PJM Legal, Market Design and Market Operations teams to review and evaluate existing and new processes to support and ensure tariff compliance for market project implementations.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the learning agility to quickly understand emerging electricity market design topics, a questioning attitude and ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team on work assignments to support the department which will include review of governing document language, transmittal letters, PJM manuals, tool requirements, process documentation and recommending process improvements to support compliance.
