Job Title: Production Engineer, Sr. Engineer I
Job Description: The Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role involves managing production lines, implementing process improvements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Assist Production Manager in developing colleagues, writing SOPs, and improving operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred. + 3-5 years’ proven experience with a master’s degree or 5-8 years with a bachelor’s degree in production engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment. + Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control practices. + Proficiency in data analysis, process improvement methodologies, and production management. + Familiarity with manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, CAD). + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or project management. + Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation. + Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the production sector. + Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus. + Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends. + Willingness to continuously learn and update skills.
+ Standard office environment with frequent visits to the manufacturing floor. + May require occasional travel to other facilities or vendor locations. + May involve working with machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
