Location: This is a hybrid (virtual/onsite) position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday assigned to the Livonia Service Center located in Livonia, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).

General Summary of Job Responsibilities

The Senior Industrial Engineer will create, develop, and implement efficient utility and/or manufacturing systems, reducing costs while maintaining standards of operations. The incumbent will lead studies on the processes used by various departments and external industry practices to identify ways to streamline production processes and improve overall efficiencies and quality, while reducing costs using lean principals. Responsible for conducting complex time studies, analyzing data, and developing process improvement plans. Oversee the work of lower-level engineers and technicians on large projects and develop training and coaching programs for employees on new processes and procedures to increase productivity and quality while reducing waste and costs.
