Job Objective:
Manages the operations and operating personnel of midstream assets in assigned areas. Drives activities to ensure realization of the fullest profit potential from the assets in accordance with all laws and regulations. Ensures field execution for all construction and maintenance activities associated with these assets is done safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
•Manage and supervise all assigned midstream operations safely, reliably, profitably and in an environmentally sound manner.
•Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines/requirements, creating a culture of safety, and staff training.
•Work closely with Pipeline Integrity and Compliance team to schedule required inspection, maintenance and testing of various pipelines and components (includes PSV testing, CP surveys, ILI’s, etc.).
•Drive work execution and ensure all required documentation of work is completed timely.
•Ensure feedback on asset condition is provided back to the Pipeline Integrity and Compliance team and engineering.
•Develop and manage operating plans, staff assignments, and budget forecasts to meet operational and strategic goals.
•Monitor throughput volumes and system integrity to maximize operational efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
•Supervise and approve operational procedures for facility upgrades, pigging, valve replacements, and routine maintenance.
•Lead root cause analyses of system upsets or failures and implement corrective actions.
•Review and approve capital and operational expenditures (AFEs) for midstream projects.
•Interface with commercial, engineering, and EH&S teams to align operational strategies with business goals.
•Coordinate 3rd party services for inspection, maintenance, and emergency response.
•Conduct field audits and site visits to ensure operational standards and safety protocols are followed.
•Support the evaluation of potential asset acquisitions, including site visits and integration planning.
•Act as incident commander in emergency situations and lead post-incident reviews.
•Participate in cross-functional planning sessions and leadership meetings.
•Coach and develop front-line supervisors and field staff.
•Conduct performance evaluations and support hiring and retention initiatives.
•Assist with salary administration.
•Assist with identifying project opportunities and participate in due diligence for potential pipeline acquisitions.
•Propose opex, projects, and annual work plans for midstream asset budgets and execute on approved budgets.
•On-call availability for operational emergencies or critical events.

Qualifications:
•Minimum 15 years of midstream field operations and/or engineering experience.
•Ability to make and implement sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
•Exceptional ability in developing team momentum, enthusiasm, and pride in company when accomplishing company goals.
•Proven ability to manage complex pipeline and facility assets.
•Demonstrated success in reducing downtime and improving asset performance.
•Experience with regulatory compliance and emergency response.
•Strong leadership and communication skills.
•Proficiency in pipeline operations software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
Education Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college.
Certifications/Licenses:
•None required; relevant certifications in pipeline operations or safety compliance preferred.
