Spring 2026 Co-op, Operations Planning Engineer (Undergraduate)

As our Operations Planning Engineer Co-op, you’ll analyze future operating conditions on the Bulk Electric System and help determine safe and reliable paths for maintenance and new construction. Your work ensures MISO can prepare for the grid of tomorrow.

- Required Technical Skills:

- Completion of core Electrical Engineering courses

- Preferred Skills:

- Completion of classes in Power Systems Analysis

- Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C++)

- Hands-on projects or internships related to grid modeling or system studies

By the End of Your Co-op, You’ll Walk Away With:

- Hands-on experience with real-time contingency analysis and power system modeling tools
