YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting directly to the Mill Maintenance General Supervisor, you will collaborate with all other process plant stakeholders (Maintenance Supervisor, Millwright, Planner, Operation team, etc.) in order to identify recurrent (or significant) issues, analyses the root causes, and structure actions to prevent them to reoccurs in the future (as well as similar issues).
You will also be responsible to constantly review and improve maintenance program to ensure efficient use of maintenance resources. You will do it by implementing and monitoring different KPI, performing reliability activities like RCFA, supporting planning in defining/reviewing PM program and by implementing/auditing sustainable predictive maintenance program (NDT, oil analysis, vibration, etc.).
Finally, you will support management in different aspects, manage projects assigned to him via priority list & provide support to maintenance & operation team when situation required (emergency).
•Ensure the consistent application of Maintenance processes throughout the AEM organization
•Lead the implementation of Key Performance Indicators for Maintenance processes with the team
•Develop a plan to eliminated or reduce the losses through root cause analysis
•Analyze repetitive critical equipment failure and make recommendations on improvement actions
•Ensure the most safe, efficient and reliable maintenance performance
•Test and improve the implementation of best practices with the stakeholders
•Direct the integration of Maintenance processes with other organizational processes
•Support planning in definition of spare parts inventory & sealift order on annual basis
•Support planning in review of PM checklist, interval & BOM
•Ensure proper use of lubricant
•Implement sustainable predictive maintenance program and ensure integration by maintenance team
•Participate in the budget and the life of mine (LOM) process for better understanding of the cost structure
•Provide a technical support to production, maintenance, management and technical personnel
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
•Mechanical Engineering Technology degree, bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•3 - 5 years of experience in the reliability field, in a similar role
•Experience with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package, preferably implementation experience as a Reliability Engineer
•Ability to define and lead project-based workshops;
•Be comfortable with all models of failure measurement
•Mining experience is an asset
•Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
•Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written). Selected candidates must attain a passing mark on a SPEEXX English language assessment
