PM Sous Chef with banquet and line experience needed. Bilingual EN/ES preferred.
We are a private dining club in the heart of downtown Houston with a decades long legacy of fine dining and excellent member experience. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 2-9/10 with occasional extended hours based on events.
a. Work middle/lead line cook position, plating food to order
b. Communicate with other line positions to time plates and clarify tickets
c. Communicate counts and clarify tickets with servers in a professional manner
d. Uphold high standards of service with other line cooks and train where needed
a. Maintain organized and clean kitchen, dry storage, and walk ins
b. Communicate clearly and professionally with AM Sous Chef to clarify needs, wants, and issues with request for change
c. Oversee nightly cleaning and stay with staff until complete—Last one to leave the kitchen
d. Execute nightly produce order based on order guide and established pars.
a. Keep all BEOs in provided binder and communicate banquet prep needs with line cooks
b. Divide dinner prep fairly and evenly amongst self and other cooks
a. Communicate politely and professionally with all staff
c. Set positive example in attitude and professionalism
