Sourcing Specialist - Facilities & Maintenance

Job Description Summary

The Sourcing Specialist leads strategic sourcing activities for assigned Facilities categories (example: equipment, maintenance, construction, etc.) at GE Gas Power’s North American sites. Responsibilities include developing strategies, leading negotiations for optimal pricing, quality, and terms, and supporting total cost of ownership reduction through vendor management, demand management, equipment and scope standardization, and compliance. Reporting to the Regional Indirect Sourcing Leader, the Specialist collaborates with the Global Category Sourcing team to coordinate sourcing efforts, drive the RFQ process, and select suppliers for investment projects. Additionally, the Specialist partners with stakeholders in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure excellent service levels. The base pay range for this position is $94,600.00 - 126,100.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
