Job Overview
The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers and subcontractors to support the successful execution of our construction projects. This individual plays a key role in cost control, lead time optimization, and vendor relationship management.
Duties
•
Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for construction materials, services, and equipment.
•
Obtain and analyze quotes, bids, and proposals to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
•
Maintain and update a database of approved suppliers and subcontractors.
•
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to forecast needs and align sourcing strategies with project timelines.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain—preferably within the construction industry.
•
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
•
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
•
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•
Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam
