The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable identifying and evaluating global vendors, overseeing supply chain efficiency through negotiation, vendor management and relationship building, and defining a strategic sourcing strategy?

Reliance Foundry is looking for a dynamic Sourcing Manager to fill a high-impact role at the core of our global supply chain strategy. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who thrives on seeing the entire end-to-end sourcing journey through—from identifying a sourcing partner in a new market to successfully integrating it into our Global Supply Chain.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Supply Chain, you will not only develop a successful Global sourcing strategy but also manage critical vendor relationships and costs.

What You'll Own & Influence

- Global Sourcing & Commercial Strategy: You will lead the identification, evaluation, and qualification of global vendors. You will guide the RFQ process to secure optimal FOB costs, calculate landed costs, and collaborate on pricing proposals to ensure market competitiveness and profitability.

- Negotiation: You will negotiate prices, contracts, and shipping terms to achieve cost-effective procurement and ensure continuous supply.

- Supplier Relationship Management: You willbuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and manage them to ensure performance and mitigate risks. You will monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes.

- Supply Chain Optimization: You will develop and implement sourcing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. You will ensure suppliers meet quality standards through audits and quality assurance practices.

- Risk mitigation: You will assess supplier risks and implement mitigation strategies.

- Strategic Sourcing: You will develop long-term sourcing strategies aligned with company goals.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: You will be a central hub for collaboration, working closely with Engineering on feasibility, Product Management on customer needs, Program Management on timelines and deliverables, and Supply Chain on successful vendor integration

- Team Mentorship: You will manage and mentor our Sourcing Specialist, providing strategic direction, overseeing their day-to-day activities, and fostering their professional growth.

What You Bring to the Table

- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, Procurement , or a similar blended role.

- Proven expertise in the full lifecycle of sourcing, including vendor negotiations, RFQ processes, and global supply chain management.

- Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to perform cost analysis, analyze competitive quotes based on the total cost of ownership (TCO).

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

- Knowledge of market dynamics and supplier evaluation techniques.

- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

- Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience mentoring and developing a direct report.

- A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

- Proficiency with strategic analysis tools (e.g., Wardley Mapping) combined with advanced Excel skills for cost modeling.

- Experience working with overseas suppliers and an aptitude for languages—particularly Mandarin, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Korean, Turkish, or Spanish—would be highly valuable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
