In this role, you will travel with the crew and work closely with leadership to ensure construction efforts are optimized. Responsibilities:

Install residential solar PV systems, including racking, modules, and electrical components.
Work collaboratively with the crew to complete installations safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Perform quality control checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Support the Crew Lead and Electrician with feedback and assistance during installations.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment, including preparation and clean-up of trucks and tools.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
Follow all safety protocols.
Complete additional duties as assigned by Crew Lead.


Qualifications:

1+ years in the solar industry, preferred but not required.
Knowledge with a wide range of residential solar products (inverters, modules, etc.)
OSHA 10 certification or be able to obtain.
A valid US driver’s license is required. The driver's license must be active for a minimum of 4 years.
A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years).
A background check will be performed on all new hires.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with internal and external groups.
Ability to think critically, problem solve, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Complete solar projects in a timely manner.
Installing the required labels on solar system components and hardware.
Willingness to travel within the state.
Follow safety and company guidelines.
Providing regular updates on job status, and completing necessary paperwork daily.
Ability to lift/carry 50+ lbs.
Ability to be on your feet the entire day (which is often long).
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Ability to scale residential homes and work at all different heights.
