Solar Inspection Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our team full-time as a Solar Inspection Technician. In this role, you’ll attend municipal inspections for residential and commercial solar projects, answer technical questions from inspectors, ensure all work meets NEC and local codes, and serve as Infinity Energy’s professional representative on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend scheduled municipal inspections for solar installations

- Communicate effectively with inspectors, answering technical and code-related questions

- Verify compliance with NEC, state, and local codes prior to inspection

- Coordinate with installation and permitting teams to address any issues found during inspections

- Operate a company-provided vehicle to travel to inspection sites

Requirements:

- Licensed electrician or equivalent experience strongly preferred

- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
