Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Electrician Assistant will be involved in both high voltage and low voltage projects, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.

- Help with fixture installation and ensure proper wiring connections.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely on construction sites.

- Support in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks, including roofing and plumbing as needed.

Skills

- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical systems.

- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.

- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.

- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and forklifts effectively.

- Experience in construction site environments is essential.

- Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices.
