Appointment Setter – Carbon Recall

Overview

Carbon Recall Kalispell is a locally owned solar and battery backup company helping Montana homeowners and businesses reduce energy costs and gain energy independence. We are seeking an enthusiastic Appointment Setter to connect with our community, educate people on the benefits of solar, and schedule qualified appointments for our sales team. This role is all about creating positive first impressions and helping customers take their first step toward saving money with renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Outreach

- Make outbound calls, send texts/emails, and engage prospects generated through marketing campaigns, door-to-door canvassing, and community events.

- Introduce Carbon Recall’s solar and battery solutions with a friendly, professional tone.

- Identify customer needs and match them with the right service offering.

Appointment Scheduling

- Book qualified consultations for our sales representatives, ensuring accurate date, time, and customer information.

- Provide appointment confirmations and reminders to minimize cancellations or no-shows.

- Maintain organized records of all outreach and scheduled appointments in the CRM system.

Customer Service & Education

- Clearly explain the basics of net metering, utility savings, and the financial benefits of solar.

- Answer common customer questions and handle objections with professionalism.

- Build trust with potential customers by emphasizing local service, long-term savings, and reliability.

Collaboration

- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.

- Share feedback on customer responses to improve outreach strategies.

- Support local events, home shows, and community promotions as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service, call center, canvassing, or sales support preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent typing skills and accuracy in data entry required.

- Self-motivated with a positive, energetic personality.

- Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

- Comfortable using CRM and scheduling tools (High Level experience is a plus).

- Passion for renewable energy and helping Montanans save money.

Compensation & Benefits

- Starting Wage: $15–18 per hour, depending on experience.

- Bonuses: Available after probationary period based on apptitude.

Performance Metrics (Success in this Role Looks Like)

- Consistently meeting or exceeding the number of qualified appointments set per week.

- High appointment show rate and positive feedback from customers.

- Clean, accurate data entry in CRM with timely follow-ups.

- Contribution to the growth of Carbon Recall’s customer base in Kalispell, Helena, Bozeman, and beyond.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
