The LCRA Transmission Operational Intelligence team is providing an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Software Developer to join our Operational Technology Solutions team in Austin, TX. - Gather and document user requirements and functional/technical specifications for software solutions to improve processes and ensure efficient system designs.
- Program, code and develop moderately complex software applications.
- Rewrite or rework existing software programs based on new requirements.
- Maintain existing software programs. Troubleshoots and provide tier 3 user support for software applications.
- Coordinate software development activities with operational technology staff.
- Provide system training to end users/system owners.
- Six or more years of experience in developing and programming/coding software applications or relevant experience. A degree(s) in computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Server management experience
- C#, .net framework (Visual Studio), ASP.net code, Blazor, Web forms
- HTML, CSS, Java script, JSON, Telerik knowledge, object-oriented languages
- SQL server, Oracle, Toad, Entity Framework (EF Core), Dapper
- API development (Rest and Soap webservices)
- Software development cycles (Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops)Windows hosting environment IIS experience
- Maximo EAM knowledge
- Power Platform knowledge (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Transmission systems and equipment
- Jira knowledge
