Job Description
TLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead the implementation and management of TLC’s social media strategy to help build brand awareness and engage our local community. This role will blend creativity and analytics. Responsibilities will include creating original photo, video, and written content, managing our social channels, and using performance data to continuously improve by telling our story, growing our audience, and strengthening our brand online.
Key Responsibilities
•Own the content calendar and manage day-to-day posting across all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
•Create engaging content that highlights our services, company culture, field technicians, customer stories, community involvement, and more.
•Capture and edit short form videos, photos, and written content including reels, stories, and testimonials.
•Respond to comments, messages in a brand-appropriate voice and tone.
•Monitor social media trends and platform updates to keep TLC ahead of the curve.
•Track performance metrics and provide monthly insights and recommendations.
•Attend community events or job sites to capture authentic, real-time content.
•Collaborate well with internal teams including marketing, customer service, HR and production & operations.
Job Requirements
•Minimum of 2+ years’ experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
•Strong photography, video, and content creation skills.
•Proficiency in tools like Canva, Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar.
•Excellent copywriting, storytelling skills, and communication skills.
•Familiarity with scheduling and analytic tools like Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite etc.
•Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
•Passion for people, service, and community
•Bonus: Experience with paid social media advertising and boosting posts.
