As we gear up for the upcoming winter season, we are seeking dedicated and reliable Sidewalk Crew Laborers to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Sidewalk Crew Laborer, you will play a vital role in our winter snow removal program. You will be responsible for clearing sidewalks and walkways, ensuring they are safe and accessible for the public. This role requires individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks using shovels and other snow removal equipment.

- Spread salt or sand to prevent slip hazards.

- Assist in loading and unloading equipment and materials from company vehicles.

- Work efficiently and safely to meet deadlines and quality standards.

- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Crew Supervisor.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

- Comfortable working in cold and sometimes challenging weather conditions.

- Previous experience in snow removal or a related field is a plus but not required.

- Ability to operate a 1585 sweeper for snow removal.
