We manage an integrated water resources system that includes the supply of clean, safe water, flood protection, and stewardship of streams on behalf of Santa Clara County's 2 million residents.

The Skilled Trades Internship Program has three (3) internship opportunities among three (3) of our plants: Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center*, Rinconada Water Treatment Plant, and Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant.

NOTE: Advanced Water Purification Center is categorized as a Wastewater facility, and interning at this facility only qualifies for Wastewater treatment operator licenses. Both Rinconada and Santa Teresa water treatment plants are conventional T-5 drinking water facilities.

INTERNSHIP LOCATION STATUS: This internship position will require the selected candidate to report on-site 100% of the time, adhering to strict safety protocols. Interns will be placed at one of three locations, the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center, the Rinconada Water Treatment Plant, or the Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant.
