Sunly Energy is currently seeking a Site Inspector in Moncton to join our team! (part-time of full-time position available)
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a change of scenery each day, someone who is thorough, and has a high level of attention to detail.
As a Site Inspector you’ll be responsible for visiting clients at residential and commercial properties and completing a site inspection.

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the duties and responsibilities of a Site Inspector include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Complete the site inspection process through a standardized form;
- Document the inspection by taking photographs of roofs, attics, meters, electrical boxes and other electrical requirements;
- Complete a sketch of the site plan;
- Upload photographs to the Google drive;
- Update CRM with pertinent details;
- Interact with clients when on site;
- Fly a drone;
- Complete “thank-you” meetings with clients;
- Review monitoring and answering any client questions; and
- Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract;
- Criminal record check is required;
- Reliable transportation;
- Comfortable with heights and using ladders;
- Proficient using software for administrative purposes;
- Ability to prioritize and and multi-task;
- Detail-oriented;
- Ability to learn and understand new material and technical concepts;
- Proficiency in English is required, bilingualism in French is considered an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to be fit-tested;
- Previous experience in the renewable or sustainability industry is considered an asset;
- Previous experience flying a drone is considered an asset;
- Valid safety training certificates (working at heights, WHMIS) are considered assets;
- Certified CPR and First Aid are considered assets; and
- Possess a good attitude and a willingness to learn and get better every day.
- Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evenings or outside normal working hours;
- Ability to drive a vehicle to and from client homes, exposed to all weather conditions;
- Ability to work at heights, using ladders or climbing when necessary;
- Ability to work independently;
- Required to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
- Work well in a fast-paced environment and can manage time effectively while working to meet several deadlines.
