POSITION: Civil Engineer or Geologist – Summer Field Internship

PAY RATE: $18-$25/hour dependent on experience

WORK HOURS: 14-days on, 7 days off from 7:00am-7:00pm

LOCATION: Remote Field Site Located in Southern Idaho

Forte Dynamics is hiring for an internship position to support our operations. Forte Dynamics is a consulting and engineering firm that specializes in mineral resource and reserve estimation, mine planning, blasting analysis, metallurgy, process design, recovery modeling, basic and detailed engineering, and construction management services.

Ready to dive into real-world field work this summer? Forte Dynamics is looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineering or Geology student to join our team for a summer internship. This is your chance to work alongside experienced engineers on a remote drilling project in southeast Idaho. You will gain invaluable hands-on experience with field work on a drilling project at a proposed mine site. Duties will include logging core, preparing and packaging core samples, writing daily reports, communicating with site and leadership teams, and assisting to ensure a safe, successful drilling campaign.
