Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montréal-Est, Québec, from Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will work under the supervision of the foreman in the reception, movement, and preparation of railcars on site.
What you’re responsible for:
•Receive railcars upon arrival and operate the shuttle train to position them on the tracks.
•Load materials into railcars using appropriate machinery and weigh the railcars to ensure proper load compliance.
•Maintain the tracks, switches, and pivot points in good working order, including regular cleaning and lubrication.
•Cut oversized metal parts using a torch, while following all safety procedures.
•Perform safety checks before and after using rail equipment.
•Carry out other related tasks as required by operational needs or supervisor directives.
Qualifications

•You have experience in a manufacturing environment and in operating heavy equipment (loaders, cranes, shuttle trains).
•You have a solid understanding of health and safety standards and apply them rigorously.
•You are autonomous, responsible, and conscientious in your daily work.
•You have a strong aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
•You are comfortable working outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
•You have experience or knowledge in welding — an appreciated asset.
