Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and be proficient in using various warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory levels.

- Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload goods efficiently.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

- Assist in managing inventory through effective stocking practices and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping of e-commerce orders.

- Conduct regular audits of stock levels and report discrepancies as needed.

- Package products securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit.

- Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts and order processing.

Requirements

- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes.

- Familiarity with warehouse distribution methods and order fulfillment practices is essential.

- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
