Shipper and Receiver

Job Summary

Metalworks HVAC Superstores, a leading wholesale distributor of custom sheet metal and HVAC supplies, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver/Shipper. This role involves receiving and shipping HVAC products, operating powered equipment including Raymond Reach forklifts, and performing manual unloading (handbombing) as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing products and materials.

•Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.

•Operate walkies, forklifts, and stand-up Raymond Reach trucks to load and unload inventory.

•Hand bomb materials as needed to ensure efficient handling.

•Match shipments with packing slips and purchase orders; report discrepancies with appropriate stakeholders (purchasing, accounts payable, etc).

•Posting of shipment receipts into the computer system on a daily basis.

•Label, store, and organize inventory in designated areas.

•Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and shipping/receiving area.

•Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.

•Communicate with delivery drivers, internal stakeholders and logistics personnel as required.

•Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications

•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

•Must have valid Forklift License (stand-up counterbalance - Raymond Reach ) with 2+ years experience in a receiving role

•Experience with walkies and forklifts in a warehouse environment.

•Must have good computer skills for data entry processing in our system.

•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

•Previous HVAC or wholesale distribution experience is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
