SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Shipper Receiver performs a variety of duties associated with the receipt, storage, shipment, inspection and quality control of materials and supplies in accordance with applicable standards.

Core Responsibilities
Receive, Ship and Inspect
Stores:
•Communicate with TransGas Projects and Purchasing to coordinate efficient handling of materials in accordance with the SaskEnergy quality assurance manual.
•Package and coordinate material deliveries ordered by various internal departments.
•Schedule and arrange for the cost effective pick-up and delivery of materials.
•Process electronic transactions, verifying quantities and monitoring inventory quality control.
•Inspect and verify incoming shipments for damage, documentation, quantity, conformance with material and supply descriptions, appropriate receipt and accounting and appropriate packing and storage.
•Working with TransGas Projects and Purchasing, initiate supplier contact regarding inventory receipt problems.
•Verify shipments are accounted for and materials and supplies are properly coded and neatly sorted and orderly.
•Maintain an organized pipeyard, including operating a forklift to load and unload steel pipe and arranging and overseeing a crane contractor to load and unload large diameter steel.
•Assist with processing returns for over shipments, incorrect shipments, damaged shipments, etc.
•Assist with inspecting and processing refurbished materials from Salvage.
•Assist with inventory reconciliation processes.
OR
Meter Shop (in accordance with SaskEnergy’s Quality Assurance Program):
•Coordinate delivery schedules, verifying quantities and monitoring inventory quality control.
•Inspect and verify incoming/outgoing shipments for damage, quantity, conformance with material and supply descriptions, appropriate receipt and accounting and appropriate packing and storage and report non-conformances.
•Verify that shipments are accounted for and materials and supplies are properly coded and neatly sorted and orderly.
•Store incoming/outgoing shipments in designated areas and input data into the meter management systems for incoming/outgoing devices in accordance with the SaskEnergy Quality Assurance Program.
•Arrange for pickup and delivery of materials and supplies such as pallets, plywood, packaging material, etc.
•Carryout various assignments associated with the inventory process.
•Assess the shipping, receiving and storage processes and provide solutions as needed.
•Perform general maintenance and cleaning of department equipment, facilities and materials, as it applies to the warehouse and yard.
•Provide training for shop personnel on shipping and receiving functions and activities such as forklift operation, meter handling, etc.
Qualifications
Education
•Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Experience
•One (1) year experience in the identification, receipt, storage and shipment of materials and supplies.

•The job holder is required to by physically fit.
