Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our new Bojangles fast food restaurant coming to Orange, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining inventory control while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Duties
•Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow.
•Train, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance performance and productivity.
•Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
•Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
•Ensure compliance with food handling safety regulations and sanitation standards.
•Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
•Assist in scheduling shifts and managing employee attendance.
•Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements.
Experience
•Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is essential, preferably in casual dining or hotel settings.
•Proven experience in supervising staff or serving as an assistant manager is highly desirable.
•Familiarity with catering services and coffee preparation is a plus.
•Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and food handling practices.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
