Metal Fabricator (Fitter)

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator (Fitter) to join our team. We are searching for an individual with the desire to handle a multitude of tasks and be a team player who is reliable & organized.

Role Summary: The metal fabricator (fitter) will read and interpret blueprints to plan the layout and the procedures for various fabrication projects. They determine the appropriate welding method based on specifications. Their responsibilities will include layout, cut and fabricate structural steel plate & miscellaneous ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This includes aligning and welding of components in various positions, inspecting welded surfaces and structures and making repair recommendations. They also assist with maintaining the equipment and the work area in a safe condition. Some in field work will be required.
