Job Responsibility
•
Manage the accurate and timely invoicing and payment of counterparty activity and the related accounts receivable and accounts payable balances resulting in clean aging
•
Coordinate with confirmations, scheduling and front office to resolve invoicing discrepancies
•
Manage and develop relationships with oil and gas counterparties
•
Support monthly accounting close and reporting process
•
Ensure proper cash application
•
Assist with the annual audit
Qualifications
•
Undergraduate degree in business (Accounting or Finance preferred)
•
Strong MS Excel data manipulation skills including pivot tables
•
Strong reconciliation skills and intuitive thinking capability
•
Strong organizational skills
•
Ability to document new processes
•
Ability to build rapport and interact with all levels of the organization and personalities both internally and externally
•
Ability to work overtime during settlement periods
•
Strong time management skills
•
Ability to manage multiple tasks with various deadlines
•
Problem solve and identify monthly trends
•
Working with other analyst to optimize processes and build efficiencies
•
Natural gas settlements or crude oil settlements is a plus
