We are a small team looking for another team-oriented individual looking to help us grow!
Service Technician
We are a pipeline equipment rental company looking for a service technician for our bending equipment and small equipment fleet. This individual will share responsibility for the pipeline rental fleet and occasionally travel to customer job sites to perform all aspects of service and maintenance in a timely manner while supporting a professional and safe work environment.
Responsibilities include:
•
Set up, troubleshoot and repair, test and operate equipment both in shop and at customer locations
•
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment
•
Diagnose equipment for any significant wear and tear
•
Complete all necessary administrative paperwork such as inspection forms, work orders, parts/inventory requisition forms and equipment/vehicle log books
•
Actively take part in safety meetings
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
•
Requirements:
•
HET Red Seal service mechanic or equivalent
•
Come with tools, truck not required
•
Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
•
Skill with small tool repair is an asset
•
Valid driver's license, with Driver's Abstract
•
Standard First Aid Certificate, H2S Certificate, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate an asset
•
Strong interpersonal skills
•
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
•
Personal PPE including CSA steel toe boots
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
