Responsibilities

•

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, kitchen/industrial, and special hazards systems.

•

Conduct thorough inspections of fire protection equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

•

Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to restore system functionality.

•

Collaborate with clients to assess their fire protection needs and recommend appropriate system upgrades or modifications.

•

Provide training to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of fire protection systems to promote safety awareness.

•

Complete detailed documentation of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future enhancements.

•

Stay informed about advancements in fire protection technology and industry best practices to continually improve service delivery.

•

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

•

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in fire protection systems preferred

•

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fire service technician or in a related field.

•

Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as NFPA and local building codes.

•

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

•

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage service requests and documentation.

•

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

•

Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

•

Must be willing to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
