Job Description

The SCADA Technician is a role for a professional with an instrumentation, controls, or programming background, involving PLC/RTU programming, SCADA integration, customer support, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Perform remote and on-site programming and troubleshooting on a variety of industrial controllers

•

Integrate our customers' systems with our ICScada platform, including configuring network settings, building HMI templates, producing data tag lists, and setting up logging and trending definitions.

•

Provide direct support to customers, identifying issues, providing solutions or guidance, and escalating issues to the development team where appropriate. Interact with the development team both directly and through a support ticket system.

•

Produce and refine technical documentation for both internal use and customer-facing materials, enhancing understanding and user experience of our products.

•

Relay constructive feedback and client insights to the development team to aid in the product enhancement cycle.

•

Assess new features and tools from a user's perspective, ensuring they meet our standards for reliability and ease of use.

Qualifications:

•

Valid driver's license

•

Technical diploma in instrumentation technology or equivalent

•

5+ years experience with oil & gas integration

•

Experience with HMI development on oil & gas infrastructure

•

Familiarity with IEC-61131-3 languages (ladder logic), RTU/PLC configuration, DCS/SCADA systems

•

Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.
