Senior Resident Project Representative/Construction Manager

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an individual to serve as a Field Coordinator/Construction Manager on major water and wastewater infrastructure renewal projects. Duties include all aspects of construction inspection, administration and coordination of management. Primary function in this position is to observe and manage contractor’s work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Able to review construction work onsite to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Facilitates coordination and communication between Owner and Contractor to ensure construction activities do not impact Owner operations. Assists with construction administration documentation: RFI’s, RFC’s, field orders, claims, submittal/schedule review, meetings, payment applications, etc.

Able to supervise and train Field Coordinators. Has a firm grasp of all technical disciplines, water and wastewater treatment and conveyance. Can independently coordinate small to mid-sized projects, or portions of larger projects. Qualifications:
