We are seeking an experienced professional with prior nuclear power station feedwater heater (FWH) replacement experience. The selected candidate will initially collaborate with a scheduler to develop and execute the FWH replacement critical path schedule for Plant Hatch. This role involves planning, coordination, and oversight of complex outage preparation activities, ensuring the successful and timely execution of the replacement project.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to develop and maintain the critical path schedule for FWH replacement.
- Plan and oversee all phases of the project, including:
- Removal of interferences.
- Rigging and extraction of the existing FWH.
- Installation of the new FWH.
- Reinstallation of interferences.
- Testing and verification of system performance.
- Lead preparation activities to ensure all outage replacement tasks are fully planned.
- Provide craft oversight and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and technical requirements.
- Conduct work order (WO) and schedule reviews for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate closely with other departments to align resources and resolve conflicts.
- Utilize Maximo for work order management and Primavera P6 for schedule planning and tracking.
- Previous hands-on experience with feedwater heater (FWH) replacements at a nuclear power station is required.
- Strong background in outage planning, project coordination, and execution within a nuclear environment.
- Familiarity with rigging, heavy equipment installation, and nuclear plant system interferences.
- Proficiency with Maximo (work management system) and Primavera P6 (scheduling software).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
