We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Lead Project Schedulerto join our team at K&A Engineering. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in Primavera P6, integrating engineering, licensing, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Apply CPM, Rolling Wave Planning, and Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor and control schedule performance.
- Resource and cost-load schedules to support forecasting, performance measurement, and KPI tracking.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of contractor baseline and monthly submittals, providing formal feedback and risk assessments.
- Compare contractor schedules against IMS to identify misalignments and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead schedule governance: processes, best practices, change control, communication plans, and contractor requirements.
- Generate executive-level reports, dashboards, and lookahead plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ years scheduling experience, including 5+ years on large utility projects. Transmission & Substation experience is a plus.- Expert in Primavera P6; advanced knowledge of CPM, critical path, and earned value analytics.
- Strong reporting skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Preferred: PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP certification
Pay Range $120,000 - 140,000
