Reporting to the E&P Project Management Supervisor, the Senior Project Manager, will lead capital projects from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines. Your role will span coordination, execution, and communication, driving effective collaboration across technical teams, contractors, and stakeholders. You will lead projects that will span from early study development to final commissioning and provide you true end to end ownership of your projects.

- Lead the full lifecycle of capital projects—from mid-sized ($500K–$5M) to large-scale (>$5M)—ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery
- Apply project management best practices based on PMI principles and Orano’s internal framework, adapting methods to suit project scale and complexity
- Develop, implement, and maintain project management plans to guide execution and control
- Monitor and forecast project performance using KPIs and compliance metrics; engage proactively with internal teams and external partners, including consultants and contractors
- Transparently communicate project status updates clearly and regularly to stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate with the Engineering Supervisor, discipline leads and design group to ensure timely technical reviews of engineering documents, specifications, and drawings
- Review tender documents prepared by external consultants and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Develop scopes of work (SOW) for the procurement of services and materials
- Contribute to contract development, evaluation, negotiation, and administration
- Support and promote Orano’s Operational Excellence initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and standards

- A collaborative and solution-focused approach to managing complexity and driving progress
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross functional, multidiscipline teams and stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Dedication to continuous improvement and sustainable project development
- Ability to instil complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences—from field teams to executive leadership- 10+ years of experience managing brownfield industrial projects
- Background working within mid to large-scale mining and mineral processing organizations
- Degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering and registered, or eligible for registration, with APEGS as a P. Eng
- or
a combination of education with demonstrated Project Management experience of similar size and complexity
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Project and SAP
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives with varied stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills across departments and external interfaces
- Saskatoon Corporate Office
- Travel to Orano mine or project sites is required with varying frequency and duration. As in any project management position, flexibility is required due to the potential for dynamic developments and the responses these may require
