Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function, overseeing over $50 million in annual indirect spend across all locations. This role is instrumental in driving cost savings, enhancing procurement maturity, ensuring compliance, and embedding procurement as a value-adding partner to the business. The Procurement Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure procurement delivers measurable impact on financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Integration
•Design and implement national procurement strategies aligned with enterprise goals and functional needs.
•Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, and IT to ensure procurement is integrated into key business decisions and initiatives.
•Position procurement as a strategic enabler that contributes directly to business performance and profitability.
Cost Optimization & Compliance
•Lead initiatives to identify, capture, and sustain cost-saving opportunities across all categories of spend.
•Ensure rigorous adherence to procurement policies, internal controls, and contract compliance requirements.
•Track and report procurement performance through relevant KPIs and dashboards.
Operational Excellence & Maturity
•Develop and scale procurement processes that improve standardization, transparency, and decision-making quality.
•Drive adoption of best practices in Category Management, Source-to-Pay, and Supplier Relationship Management.
•Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Technology & Process Enablement
•Lead the digital transformation of the procurement function, including complete rollout of Invoice and PO systems.
•Optimize use of Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay platforms to streamline procurement operations and enhance compliance.
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
•Execute sourcing strategies aligned with global category frameworks, particularly in key operational and CapEx areas.
•Conduct annual spend and supplier portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with business priorities and risk mitigation.
Contract Management & Risk Control
•Maintain and oversee a centralized contract repository to standardize contract practices and improve visibility.
•Ensure consistent, compliant contract execution that minimizes risk and maximizes value.
Team Leadership & Development
•Build and manage a capable procurement team, aligning structure and resources with business needs and spend categories.
•Foster a high-performance environment through training, talent development, and succession planning.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
•Minimum 7 years of progressive procurement experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
•Proven track record in driving cost savings, improving procurement maturity, and enforcing policy compliance.
•Strong knowledge of procurement systems, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
•Demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and align procurement with enterprise objectives.
•Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
