YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for planning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, and releasing of commodity construction materials, electrical equipment, lighting, and supplies as assigned. The Senior Procurement Specialist provides leadership, training, and management as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
•Prepares and distributes complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposal including logistics, warehousing, kitting, and cutting and packaging requirements as required; receives, analyzes, and recommends approval of bids most advantageous to Rosendin.
•Processes difficult and unique purchasing transactions according to state laws, federal statutes, policies, and procedures established by Rosendin.
•Assists departments with specification development, drafts RFP.
•Reviews, analyzes and approves all purchases where award is not made to the low bidder to ensure justification exists and policy is followed. Reviews, analyzes, researches and approves purchases of a non-competitive nature.
•Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of deficiency and take corrective action.
•and plan all aspects of purchasing from project award to closeout.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
•Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials
•Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accounting
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Must exhibit supervisory skills
•Work independently with minimum supervision
•Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle
•Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
•Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
•Oral and written communication skills as required for the position
•Self‐motivated, proactive and an effective team player
•Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management of related discipline
•Minimum 5 years electrical construction purchasing experience
•Combination of education, training and relevant experience
TRAVEL:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
•General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
•Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

•Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
