Keyera is currently seeking a Senior Pipeline scheduler to join our Calgary based Commercial Operations team. The individual will be responsible for scheduling on the Keyera operated Fort Saskatchewan Condensate system (FSCS) and Fort Saskatchewan Pipeline (FSPL). In addition to these duties, the individual will also provide back-up support for other functions in the logistics group as required. The individual will be responsible for ensuring required information is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively manage pipeline nominations, reconcile nominations with actual deliveries and manage discrepancies.
- Track and analyze shipper nominations to ensure contractual alignment and capacity availability.
- Monitor position levels for all parties at designated pipeline locations.
- Provide detailed reporting on customer activities as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Distribute Pipeline reports.
- Assist in coordinating and managing pipeline outages.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize assets and service delivery to customers.
- Month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Assist with the C5 dailies/Scheduling of the KAPS pipeline.
- Work collaboratively with teams to identify and communicate issues and opportunities to enhance operational and business results.
Provide back-up support for other functions in the logistics group as required.
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service-oriented leader with the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field: Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
- 5 or more years of experience dealing with pipeline scheduling, monthly nominations and inventory positions.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to ensure detailed product flows are managed within the broader context of pipeline capabilities, contractual obligations and changing operational conditions.
- Advanced computer skills in Excel and Microsoft word.
- Ability to process multiple transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Previous related work experience with condensate and pipeline scheduling is an asset.
