Position Specific Description
The Senior Manager, Critical Infrastructure Fusion Center is responsible for leading the strategic oversight and operational excellence of the Fiber Network Operations Center, Enterprise network and Critical Infrastructure ensuring enterprise-level reliability in monitoring, maintenance, and restoration of the organization's critical fiber optic infrastructure. This senior-level position encompasses managing cross-functional teams of technicians and engineers, directing incident response strategies, escalation frameworks, and achieving organizational service-level agreements (SLAs), NERC CIP compliance and performance objectives. Key accountabilities include developing organizational capabilities to support expanding fiber services portfolio and establishing comprehensive operational excellence standards and knowledge management systems.
With senior-level expertise in fiber optics analysis, OTDR and packet capture interpretation, strategic technology leadership experience, and proven success with enterprise solutions from Nokia, Ciena, Fujitsu, and Cisco—combined with comprehensive knowledge of optical, transport, and MPLS networking architectures—you represent the ideal candidate for this senior leadership role. This position reports directly to the IT Technology Manager at the Fusion Center Miami Operations Center (FCM) with dotted-line relationships to senior business stakeholders.
You'll provide strategic leadership across IT and OT business domains, senior management teams, enterprise project managers, and Power Delivery organizations to ensure large-scale projects are successfully delivered and transitioned to Fusion Center Network Operations with full operational readiness. As the primary escalation executive for critical issues in our 24/7/365 enterprise environment, you'll drive organizational system availability and performance excellence.
This senior leader provides strategic oversight of circuit inventory management, Nokia NSP platforms, OSPInsight systems, and all FCM fiber optic operational processes, ensuring enterprise documentation standards and comprehensive infrastructure security protocols. Executive-level communication and organizational development capabilities are essential. Specialized executive expertise to analyze complex IT/OT challenges and drive strategic best practices for resolving enterprise-level problems, fiber infrastructure incidents, and service outages, while managing vendor relationships and carrier partnerships at the senior level, is critical. Advanced proficiency in Cisco, Arista, and fiber technologies is required for supporting enterprise-wide network operations.
