Hazen and Sawyer is seeking senior-level engineers for our South Florida Offices for a variety of water-related assignments in various engineering disciplines (e.g., Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Structural, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
•Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments on projects
•Execute and oversee the planning, evaluation, design and support of projects through construction and operation
•Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery
•Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients
•Other responsibilities may include:
+ Managing projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements
+ Evaluate progress of the project staff and results obtained and recommend changes to achieve overall project objectives
+ Supervising staff and managing projects
+ Supporting and leading proposal development
+ Direct coordination and collaboration with clients
Required Qualifications:
•PE license (FL preferred or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment)
•10+ years of experience in the field of water related infrastructure (including project management)
•Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
•Experience in planning, design, and construction for water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or reuse infrastructure
•Proficiency in all MS Office based computer software
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
•Self-starter with attention to detail
•Strong organizational skills
•Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people
•B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
•Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. program (other engineering degrees considered case by case)
•Proficiency in GIS, CAD/BIM, BioWin, PowerBI, and other software
