Job Summary
Senior Landman position requiring minimal supervision, a strong proactive approach, and utmost degree of independence, professionalism, and dependability with advanced supervisory, leadership, negotiating, communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills and a comprehensive understanding of land, legal, and oil & gas industry principles, processes, and procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities•Responsible for conducting all land work to include obtaining and evaluating land data (i.e., records, titles, abstracts, etc.) on the availability of land and/or leases for acquisition, development, and/or divestiture.
•Secures the examinations of titles, resolves defects, and settles damage claims.
•May be responsible for making recommendations on dry hole contributions, farm-ins, farm-outs, and other exploration activities, as well as maintaining producing leases and co-owner relationships.
•Ability to represent the company at land/lease sales.
•Under minimal supervision, plans and conducts assignments.
•May have responsibility for whole projects or complex assignments involving problem diagnosis and/or development of innovative solutions.
•Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.
•Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Landman.
•An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experienced in Texas Regulatory Environment.
•Permian Basin commercial expertise.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
•Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping.
•Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
•Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
