Position Overview
This is a leadership role for an experienced HVAC professional who knows their craft and takes ownership of field performance, training, and job quality. You’ll oversee junior staff, lead installs and service calls, and help set the tone for how our team performs under pressure.
We work until the job is done — no clock-watchers or shortcuts. This role is for someone who leads from the front, holds the line on quality, and thrives on being the go-to expert.
- Serve as first point of contact for field technician support and escalation
- Monitor job quality, timeliness, tool readiness, and site safety
- Conduct weekly check-ins with team members and coach performance
- Ensure service vehicle organization and equipment maintenance
- Address customer concerns and escalated issues
- Handle complex diagnostic and service calls
- Maintain long-term customer relationships through professionalism and reliability
- Mentor and train apprentices and junior techs
- Help onboard new technicians and teach advanced troubleshooting
- Lead training sessions on tools, systems, and procedures
- Provide performance feedback and coaching
- Lead complex residential and light commercial HVAC installations
- Manage workflow on multi-day projects
- Ensure code compliance and proper installation standards
- Provide weekly field performance updates to leadership
- Identify and suggest improvements to field operations
