The Opportunity

Talon Metals is developing the Tamarack project in northern Minnesota into what will be the nation’s premier source of nickel and other critical minerals sustaining everything from electric vehicle batteries to high-tech super alloys. Our deposit is truly phenomenal, and we are looking for a phenomenal person to help advance this exploration project into a producing mine. Specifically, we are seeking an experienced geochemist with a proven track record in environmental geochemistry, data analytics, and mine permitting.

What the Role Entails

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated knowledge and passion for aqueous geochemistry, specifically centered around water-rock interactions including predictive modeling and empirical analytical methods. The candidate will work with the existing environmental team to support the materials characterization program and the associated geochemical predictive modeling. The candidate will also provide assistance with respect to the environmental baseline characterization program and the environmental permitting process.
