SunVest is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assist with financial planning, project budgeting, and performance reporting efforts. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, FP&A and will serve as a business partner across the organization.
This is a high-impact role that combines financial experience, operational insight, and strategic project management. You will be responsible for assisting with building dashboards, optimizing cash management, assisting with board and management reporting packages, and enhancing SunVest’s forecasting and budgeting processes to support company growth.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to analyze project and company performance.
- Help prepare monthly management and investor reports.
- Track and analyze project budgets in partnership with Development, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Contribute to cash flow tracking and forecasting.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and FP&A tools to improve data visibility.
- Perform variance analyses and help identify trends or risks impacting financial performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and analyze complex data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Interest in renewable energy or project-based industries (preferred but not required).

The salary range for this role reflects the broad array of factors considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $85,000-$105,000
.
