The opportunity?

The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Imdex financial records, managing month-end close processes, and supporting strategic financial decisions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives and help drive our company’s financial health and performance.

- Manage and oversee the general ledger and all transactional activity supporting the accounting operations.

- Areas of responsibility include: fixed asset coordination and tracking, leased assets reconciliations, inventory, Intercompany and prepaid asset accounting as well as all other assigned technical accounting areas.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Coordinate audits and prepare required documentation for internal and external auditors.

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Support tax filings and liaise with external tax advisors.

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

- Review of regional tax effect accounting submissions and preparation of the group tax computation and proof.

Requirements:

To be successful?

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling or analysis.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
